What the order does ​

• Requires agencies to provide designated federal officials prompt access to unclassified records, data, software, and information technology systems.
• Directs agencies to facilitate sharing and consolidation of unclassified information within and across agencies.
• Requires agencies within 30 days to revise guidance that blocks data sharing and recommend regulatory changes to the Office of Management and Budget.
• Requires immediate federal access to comprehensive data from federally funded state programs, including data held by third parties.
• Gives the Secretary of Labor and designees immediate access to unemployment and payment records available to the Department of Labor Office of Inspector General.
• Requires agencies within 45 days to review whether classified-information policies protect more material than necessary and recommend changes.
